By the time I finished painting her portrait, she had already left us. I’m so sorry we couldn’t give her more love in her final days. But I truly believe all dogs go to heaven—rest in peace, sweet girl. Thank you for letting us meet, even if only for a brief moment. You’re now a memory I’ll always hold close.
